help with ue4ss refusing to run
as i stated ue4ss is refusing to run and implement any thing in game, i am trying to mod the game but no luck. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hard to say without knowing more but have you hit Insert on ur keyboard AFTER being on your char ingame? This reloads mods.

Is this v3 or lol xinput

hmm, no. however, i am not sure, there are mods that edit sliders that are not showing. would it change anything to do so?

no, it is the current version, i have not modded the game yet myself, or more correctly, modded it successfully.

Ya try insert and if still nothing i would start fresh.
(Aka just delete the entire Win64 directiory > verify files in steam)

Its very easy to mess up ue4ss because of so much bad info out there.
Once nice & fresh again just make sure the ue version you have installed is this one

You'll know you have the install right if in \Pal\Binaries\Win64 you have UE4SS.DLL

Still like the old & bad xinput version, edit UE4SS-settings.ini and throw the false on the using cache array spot


Load into game once without any mods installed yet
Load into a SP map once then quit out of game completely.
Now install your mods by simply dragging them to LogicMods folder if a Pak file (Regardless of what authors say where to drop them) they go in Pal\Content\Paks\LogicMods

Or in Win64/Mods if an Lua or Script mod. (Easiest way to tell is if the mod has Enabled.txt, if it does its an lua/script mod)

At this point there should be no reason to edit the modlist or anything so you should be good. Authors with LUA or Scipt mods should be including enabled.txt by now, if not the mod is probably DOA anyway lol.

No reason to download the silly signature info stuff (If you happen to run into that online, it can actually break mods unless you're playing Single Player specifically)

Now finally once actually "playing" your character, hit Insert on keyboard (Need to do this each login for some mods sadly)

ya, not just bad info, bad info can still be used to an extent. for me, it is the lack of concise info the try and help yourself with, before having to pester the fan base for help.

nope, no change when it comes to the sliders that should, i have one that increases how many pals at base that should change, but no dice *sighs*

also i have the setting mentioned changed as well. i try to do my due diligence

as i read as well, it should pretty much be plug and play, i also removed any mod in the Mods folder and did it a second time just to be sure before reinstalling them
