Yes similarities are not a reason to sue. Why people act like they are is beyond me. (then again why would the average gamer know about the law anyway?)
This is pretty much where the similarities end though as the game play is vastly different from Pokemon.
That is what gets me about people. This game almost could not be more different than Pokemon even if it tried to.
