Getting the best passive?
Isn't it better to just capture a few astegons instead if cross breeding for better passive? It's just seems really hard/time consuming waiting for eggs to hatch and stuff. :/

Maybe I'm doing it wrong and it causes a really difficulty.

My hatch speed rate is at 5. So 15 min for normal sized eggs and 3.5 hours for huge ones.

Why not both? Or just find another pal with the passives you want and breed them into astegons.
you could also capture all the best passives on a common pal like the chicken and after you've combined all the passives you want you start breeding them with your rarest pal without passives until you get them to the pal you want.

i disliked getting huge eggs when breeding

If I remember right, there was a video I caught talking about how wilds won't have as good of IV's as bred, but... I typically watch youtube passively and am more just listening to stuff. You -could- do that, but if you're trying to perfect a breed...trying to catch that would be more of a nightmare than cooking cakes and waiting for eggs to hatch.

The difference between "ideal passives" and just taking whatever you get is around at most a 120% difference. Counting a 70% passives boost and 50% ideal IV. More if you factor in specific elemental boosts.

IV's: 30% atk/def and 50% health
Legend: 20% atk/def
Ferocious 20% atk
Burly Body 20% def

Past that it's kind of a whatever you prefer bag.

I wouldn't say you HAVE to breed for ideal stats/passives, the game is certainly manageable just using a caught whatever stat/passives pal as long as you play smart.

I was able to do Frostallion for example at lvl 43 with a caught as is Suzaku and just playing smart about it.

Paladius and Necromis you can split up if you go at night because Paladius will sleep the whole time you fight Necro.

Anubis is just a stay out of red circle fight.

Most of the rest of the game is just learning the attacks and dodging at the right time.

Can't recommend enough reducing breeding time from 72 to 0.01 or something because it's hard enough to get a huge batch of cakes, let alone getting a pile of eggs and waiting hours for them to hatch. ALL of the mid-late game pals are huge eggs so all take >1hr to hatch by default. Way too long.

Seems to take me about 80 hatches before I get a perfect output with nothing but perfect inputs. Game is really bad about putting useless player% passives and mixing noncombat and combat passives even when the input is ferocious, legend, swift, musclehead.

or.. you know... breed two pals with two good passives into another, then take two other and breed them into another one.. and then breed those two separatelly with other clean ones back into anothers to get two what you can use to breed together to get your target Pal.

inbetween few times lost what you wanna breed into what :D

i did find on Reddit some topic about it... with theory that best is breed pal with 2 skills only with another with other 2 skills

then start like 1+1 and then 2+2 to get 4 what you need.
i cant really confirm it, but it seems be right... but as im saying.. it seems...
my worse attempt was like 60 eggs where i was getting whole new, or mixed skills, when i breed 4+3 (4 skills+3 skills what were the same)

Quite the easy and long journey.
