Remove "missions" and replace pal cap by players level instead
the pal cap should just increase by players level instead and show the # of pals for each level by the level # in the tech page more intuitive and dosnt force players to have to build certain objects just to upgrade the their base level

with the ammount of stuff you need to build to advance base level, it is no wonder why you need to build condo towers if you wanna have your base anywhere near lvl 10 or more.
The missions are the tutorial to help you understand the mechanics of the game. Just build it and dismantle it if you don't want it. You can farm tech points. Other than the fridge, everything they want you to build is useful. And the fridge is only not useful since it doesn't store any cold after a Pal leaves. Which is goofy.

you get multiple bases, spread the stuff out, Youll be phasing out old stuff as you get the new benches. No reason the have a sphere bench and a automated sphere maker.
You should be building most of those things in your base regardless as you level up so it just works this way.

Demolishing the object is free (and gives resources back). And the game is PLENTY generous with tech points (ive got 40 spare) - do a dungeon (cave) or two
Most of the stuff is pretty useful though. Plus, once you're high enough level, it's pretty much tied to player level since you'll have all the stuff needed instantly once you hit it.
The pal cap should be unlimited IMO, I just maxed out all 16 pages of pals in my box, makes me not wanna go any further ugh
the point is you can have more pals because your base has been improved by adding new items. that why it's the way it is.

its a combination of leveling to unlock the tech AND getting better at base building and resource gathering in order to actually build the stuff.

you're right to a point. the thing is that the sphere maker takes 4 times the space of the bench (especially the one wich is from the lv40 something tech that uses the circuits). it's more of a nitpick than anything but still... it's a bit big... but that's just me.

OP is talking about the working pals. But if you've maxed out your storage, it's time for a purge. Get some extra meat or squish those critters down into essence. There is no way you have 16 pages of useful and important pals + the 65 you've got in your party and working at all bases.

If you really really want to preserve them for some reason, there's the viewing pen which I think lets you.

wat, I was level 14 before I moved my base and it was on the side of a cliff with tons of unusable space, but still space left if I wanted to just cram it all there.

Except we do have that many pals we need due to the way the condensing mechanic currently works. You need more than 100 of just one species.

and allows multiple pals to work on it at once. Much faster. I mat the point where I have 3 bases, my stuff is spread otu between the 3. You're not supposed to put everything together.

yeah, i get that... it's just a hassle imo to move, for example, ore/quartz from base to base, even with the legendary hook thingy. i like to mantain them in a nice organized container, and if i need them on another base i just go mine more of it and put on the container of that base. it's... allright... but given how much quartz is "rare", moving it from point a to b is boring to me... (i know about the mining spots but still, not near enough imo...)... but again, nitpick of mine... i like some stuff compact... imo, the circle even when you go vertically is a bit small for the game tech that takes space... fiting a ranch or an assembly line on the 5th floor of a triple stacked wall building sometimes is nightmare fuel for me.
got a question tho: if you put the display cages, doesn't it by proxy give you an "extra page" for you to store some pals in?! (you put the pals on the dsplay cage untill you need them, and then swap the others on the box and so on)... i know those things are humongous and can only be put (as far as i know) on the ground floor of a base without anything constructed on top of it, but still... this maybe is a way to up via proxy the space for the pal boxes... i guess...
