Im sorry Pokemon the grand theft auto edition is more popular than you would like it to be but it is

Was the same story with most other over-hyped games, they get a huge initial player base then it dwindles as the truth is realised and everyone sees it for them selves.

tbh, I don’t think the developers could care less about the drop-off.
In fact, they are probably hoping for it to lessen server costs.

I don’t get why people hate the game so much they probably haven’t even ever played it the entitled karens

Honestly I didn't expect so many people to buy and play it given that it's early access, wonder what it will get with a full release. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

You're the about the 5th person this week to make this thread. Did they have a special at the tackle shop or something?

I mean, I did everything I wanted to do in this game, which is why I'm not playing. (right now) That's not indicative of how fun the time I spent playing was. Not every game has to go on for years of play-time in order to be considered a good game.. in-fact, that mindset is -exactly- how we got live service ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games to begin with.
I feel like I've seen all the content there is. Yet, I'm still happy to have spent my money on this and will happily pay them more if/when they make a new game/dlc.

Also, I can't really hear you over $570,000,000 in net profit.. oh whoops, I mean, $564,000,000. (gotta take out those development costs. lol)

You literally only be able to play with 31 ppl. Why care?
Devout Christian Feb 7, 2024 @ 8:50pm
sharp player count fall is because of lack of content and depth, would not be surprised if they just put a skeleton crew working on drip fed updates, take the money and ditch, that would actually be the smart thing for them to do. the initial boom of players reflects the market gap for this type of game, not the quality of this game

Drop off is actually very important to have, Games that don't have drop offs usually have things like bots. Not only that but it can be useful for devs to see what they need to focus on more and what the remaining players are actually doing
