What happened to climbing / jumping?

Since patch 1.14.0 it is difficult to jump over uneven terrain and has made traversing the map way more irritating that it was. Also if you jump too close to a rock you go up and then straight back down again.

Anyone else notice this?

Not that exactly, but I started to always bounce back down a cliff I just climbed up, if I don't keep pressing forward. Like I want to pause on a ledge halfway up to regen stamina.. but if I don't run against the next wall I fall down after standing
