I never liked spending a majority of my wood and stone on making more basic spheres when they could’ve been spent anywhere else, and I was using a lot to build other structures to level up my base and all that.
As soon as I set up a Vixy populated ranch, I kissed my blue pal sphere poverty issues goodbye. Now I can save my wood and stone for the higher tier spheres or other crafts.
doubt this will help. level 3 vixy requires how many vixy? and they're not the easiest to hunt either. their spawn rate is too low.
your time is spent better on maintaining the base and selling excess food to buy a gun (fisherman's port).
flying mounts can swim over water without consuming stamina
afk for 10 hours at your mining base, wake up to thousands of ore (make sure you have food, defenses and proper clothing for nighttime)
marsh island has a decent high quality pal fluid farm, you can lap the island and bonk mammoths for hundreds of fluid in minutes with some luck on the spawns
pick up and hatch every single egg you come across for free xp
always catch 10 of every Pal, you will need the xp to reach late game levels
proactively craft materials if you have idle Pals at your base, especially ingots and late game components
you can tune all your world settings at any point, including removing item drop on death, base raids and xp gains
ALWAYS back up your save file after a playing session
And I see your point -- it takes way too much time to make a 4 star pal.
Yes, I've been about everywhere on my Beakon. I wouldn't try it on a Nitewing, but anything you can get after should work. Just be prepared to flee quickly should you get attacked. In some areas, stuff will spawn in right on top of you that is hostile. Not so much the volcano, but in the desert especially.
Too bad you can't get everything from eggs though. I want a Blazamut, but I think you can only get it the hard way. Either tame the boss or tame one in wildlife sanctuary 3.
Now if someone has a tip for getting Blazamut, I'd like to hear it.
If you start breeding them, they add up quick and you can select the best one before the sacrifices start.
Someone needs to make a skin that changes that condenser into a sacrificial alter.
What you didn't mention, is you want the huge dragon egg found in that location that will hatch to a Jormuntide Ignis to give you your level 4 kindling.
Ranch is weird that it's on a timer, work speed doesn't affect it, but improving the stars will.
Once you start trying to breed to get the right passives on your pals, you'll start having an influx of extra, imperfect ones.
Pal partner skills increase in effectiveness as they gain more stars. For example Cattiva goes from increasing your carry weight by 50 at 0 stars to 90 at 4 stars.
