So whichever 1 you choose will just be moderately enhanced, not put in 5 and get a new combined 1.
(maybe unnecessary explanation, but I wasn't sure before I used it)
The final number you need of 64 is just way too many for how small the pal box is. Most people will need to do a serious cleanup and removal job of pals in their pal box before they can put 64 pals in there to level a pal to 4 stars.
Bosses seem best for breeding and not in the party, but it'd be nice if they kept their size when ranked tho. I use a large boss for a flier because it doesn't do the fighting and looks great!
Partner skills level up as well, and if you reach 4 stars all camp skills get a level up as well (like kindling 4 => 5, etc).
I did not actually know that! Thanks, I wondered why I would want to bother upgrading my work Pals (except possibly for better base defense). ]
or just bully vixy?
Yeah I mean... what's the cap on a skill, 5? Maybe each level gets you access to better spheres. I think if you've condensed 64 Vixy's you've probably earned better spheres.
Probably way faster to just get the mats and craft them yourself but you do you.
I read that at 3 star, the vixy will dig up mega spheres.
Some types of partner skills that start at level 1, level up once for each star you add. This is especially useful for ones that boost either your pal or your character attack damage. For instance a Beakon that does electric damage can be boosted significantly with 4 Sparkits added to the party. Level those Sparkits all to 4 stars, and you have a boss killer bird (assuming you attack ones that are not strong against electric).
