Would you want traditional 'shinies' in Palworld?
As a veteran in pokemon, I love shiny hunting. While Lucky and Alpha pals do fill a similar niche, I kind of miss the shinies that had different colors when playing. Does anyone else feel the same?

Not really never really care for them any way. I think this game's luckies are the equivalent while not trying to be the same

idk feels it would cross a line

tho i feel it would be cool of the alpha/legend pals could also be "lucky" at some crazy low rare chance

My first thought was yes, but there are several variants of pals which are almost just colour swaps already in the game. Kelpsis, Van/Crystwyrms, Maus, Surfents,Jolt/Crysthogs, Mammorest and so on.

Perhaps have different shades of their existing colours? Maybe glowing different coloured eyes? More options and more customisation is always nice.

I would love for that, I want some truly rare finds

Why would I want a pal that's just a pallet swap with possibly garbage stats?

No, I think I'd rather keep the current Lucky Pal style where they are actually better. Let's not make them suck like pokemon.

#1 downloaded mod once made.
catching a lucky no longer removes their sparkles
No reason to go poke route, lucky traits are actually useful.

Alphas don't spawn based on RNG so they're fine just being bigger.

Lucky Pals could use another visual aspect to make them unique from other pals though.

The problem with giving them just a recolor is that the game already uses that kind of thing to denote variant pals. So how would you differentiate between what's a variant and what's a lucky pal if both were recolored? What if you found a variant that was also lucky?

Maybe they'd have a special marking like stripes or spots? I dunno.
no, i dont want shinys, i never bothered to shiny hunt and in the 6 years of playing several generations of pokemon the only shiny i found was the red gyarados (heh)

I think that having shinies would be too on the nose, people are already trying to screw this game in every way they can and cause trouble, lets not give them another thing to b**** about

I would personally like to see alternate color palettes of shinies. would make them feel more unique.

who cares if people not owning the game wanna complain about every feature, its like trying to cater to a playerbase that doesnt exist

Never played pokemon, so don't miss a thing. The purpose of this game is not to copy pokemon. I like the pals just as they are. Once you have learned what they look like, they are easily identified. Changing the color would just make it harder to tell which pal it is you are looking at.
I think staying far away from kiddy pokemon games would be the best idea. Never been a fan, so I'm not missing anything.

No, let's not give the Pokemon fanatics more ammo against Palworld.
