What is the max number of eggs you can lay before they disappear or overwrite each other? Is there a limit

I'd like to leave my computer on for a few hours to lay eggs. I am curious if this will be worth while or not. If it lays 20 eggs, will they all be there in 20 hours? Is there a limit?

I’m curious about this. I did have two ranches side by side for Mau the cat that digs gold, I think 4 in each or 6 total can’t remember but my ranch was overflowing with bags of coins about 4K of it. So I’d assume it stays for quite awhile. Even if you have transporters they can only do so much that even my current ranch that are two ranches 3 cows, 3 chickens and 2 beebegrade with 4 Anubis can’t keep up with transporting but I can leave for hr and it would just fell up. You could do a freezer nearby with ice pal and have transporters keep filling it. you could leave your player in the ranch to auto pick but it might expire in inventory.

I'm talking about eggs in the breeding pen, not the ranch. I don't know if the eggs work the same as other items. I'm running it now for science. I hope I don't miss out on 15 or 20 eggs while I am working.

What setting effecting the breeding egg rates? I know you can mess with the hatch timers on the custom settings. But that's different from what's being talked about here.

There is a setting for the breeding pen's wait time? I am not talking about the hatch time. I already set mine to 0 for that.

The answer you are looking for is 20.
Then it goes all the way up to 100% waiting for you to pick up one of the eggs to drop the 21st and start timer for the next egg.
They don't get overwritten. They don't expire (as far as I know)

Oh okay you were talking about breeding, never saw the word breeding, so I only was thinking about incubation time.
My bad. When I read lay, thought how many eggs you can put into to multiple hatcheries. As in lay them there yourself.

My bad. When I read lay, thought how many eggs you can put into to multiple hatcheries. As in lay them there yourself.

I said laying eggs though... that's not hatching :/

I can lay the egg into the hatchery.
You don't lay the eggs if you mean from breeding. pals lay the eggs.
Aka how many eggs your pals can lay through breeding.
