Elemental Table
Curious to see what other people think, maybe im in the minority here.

I kind of find the very basic rock paper scissors style of elements to be extremely boring, there is nothing special about any element compared to any other in terms of combat ability other than fire, which is just better than any other element as it has 2 strengths and two resists.

I would like to see a more complex elemental table that makes some elements into good attackers with multiple that it is super effective towards but few resists or multiple weaknesses, and some elements as good defense types with multiple resists but few that it is super effective towards.

It would require more thought about what is strong vs what when choosing which pals to send out to fight a boss, but even more so when they add PvP it makes paying attention to what pals elements are on the field more important and a lot more interesting.

Personally I just think it still needs to be simple, but needs an overhaul so that fire isn't the only element with two strengths, or that Neutral didn't get the short end of the stick.

Thing is we need to take into account of how many Pals are even in said element type though. Dragon is actually a really strong type just on the notion of how many dark-types there are in the game. Feel status-effects should matter too if we were to balance it (again, Neutral has...none?)

A complex element table does make things more interesting, so long as they don't go down the route like cassette beasts did.

Some bits are going to still be a bit rock, paper, scissors, (water will always extinguish fire and be weak to lightning, for example) but some more variety sounds nice. Especially when you consider double element types.

I think the Pokemon element table is very very absolutely terrible so much. I need to play pokemon while watching jpg image. I don't want palworld to make the same mistake.
