what's the best use of them? I haven't touched them for a very long time.

To upgrade your pals at the same statue you use lifmunk effiggies.

30% boost to combat stats isn't something to sneeze at. Neither is 30% work speed boost on someone you've gone nuts trying breed

Best use? There is only one use lol, you use them to upgrade pals.
Lunos Feb 6, 2024 @ 10:34pm
Use them on lucky or good trait pals. No reason to hoard them as you get them fairly easy.

so I should only use it AFTER breeding the godawful rng?
Lunos Feb 6, 2024 @ 10:39pm
Souls don't carry through breeding or condensing so yes.
WonderSparks Feb 6, 2024 @ 10:41pm
afaik the breeding is not random, there's some internal mumbo-jumbo that tells the game what offspring you get with X and Y Pals.
Pretty sure there's a guide floating around out there with the deets.

You can pay to remove them, so if you're flush on gold then you can get a full refund and there's no reason to wait.

by rng I mean the extra bonuses that comes with it. from slacker to serious, from downtrotten to musclehead.

Oh, well yes I suppose the passive traits are random, least as far as I'm aware; I've yet to actually try breeding, yet, I was getting ready to do so but then I realized I needed to free up storage space so I've temporarily uninstalled the game until I can sort that out. XD

On that note, wishing you the best of luck with RNGesus! May He not spite you with hundreds of Pals with terrible stats and/or passives!

You can reset those souls back. But that will cost you some money.

Pal Metal Ingots are produced with the electric furnace.
You're going to need quartz to make the circuit boards that requires, which can be found on the big, snowy island, not too far from the giant tree.

quartz is fine. high quality pal oil is the problem. there's no npc that sells that?

You can breed traits with fairly high consistency, yes.
If both parents have swift for example will pass down swift most of the time, and only sometimes if one parent has it.

A friend of mine bred a lucky+movement speed suite vanwyrm cryst to be their forever mount.
