Pals filling up chests annoyingly
Please can something be done for Pals putting items in chests like a tick box on storage of all items so you can tick what items you want in what ever storage you have so that you can find things easier, I have gone around multiple times sorting out my chests to come back the next day to my chests all messed up again and having to just leave them how they are.

Also I didn't know this until probably 120+ hours but you can tap R to sort anything in your inventory into a box as long as it has a stack of a corresponding item.

Oh no. Were you manually stacking each item in your inventory into chests after every excursion for 120 hours? That's dedication.

Well since pals just bring stuff to the closest box, you need to manage your positioning of the boxes.

If you want privat boxes, you need to place them, where pals cant acess them.

They quite clearly are not looking for improv bandaids.

Hopefully they change it so you can use the hotkey to offload inventory without having to actually open a chest, just be close enough, like Terraria. I did suggest this in-game.

As someone who uses a lot of storage containers as decorations, having something like an option to right-click on an individual empty space inside a storage container in order to lock it from use (perhaps even adding a toggle that could be selected to instantly lock ALL empty spaces within said container) would make organization/decorating a lot simpler. Currently, I've been filling each individual space with a single-stack of cotton candy--which is effective but tedious.

I have the workaround to disallow base pals from placing unwanted items in select boxes by placing individual gold coins in all the spaces.
What would make it simpler would be the option to ban an item from said box.
