Sonic doesnt roll so much as he spins, i think that comparison is invalid.
I mean, it doesn't make a huge difference to me, it just means I have to go through loading stuff again if I absolutely must get up from my computer. (And that just seems silly)
It's not always that easy. There are lots of reasons taking extra clicks to go to menu, go to the last tab, then click exit to title to actually stop the game can be too much time for someone. This is always a debate in games that launch without pause and it almost always ends up that eventually the devs do add a pause for single player/offline. But people who don't need to pause alays feel the need to be like "just exit, you're lame of even asking"
