Is quite good. What step are you stuck on?

First choice, If you have public IP address and know how to port forwarding, plus you have one computer that runs 24*7, you can simply setup dedicated server at home.

Second choice, If you DON'T have public IP address, but you have one computer that runs 24*7, with free/paid frp service you can still setup dedicated server at home.

Last choice, If you don't have a computer that runs 24*7, rent a online dedicated server, this usually be the most expensive but also the easiest way to setup a dedicated server. Palworld game still have memory leaking problem and if you don't restart the server process, it can consume up to 32GB for a 8-player world in 24 hours. As a result, cheap online dedicated server with low memory won't work well.

Uhhh, unless you're on an actual potato never buy/rent a dedicated server.... lol
Although, good point in last post john, LOL..... That's....probably true. hah

Step 1: Install the server using steam library, just include "tools" and it will show up
Step 2: Learn port forwarding
Step 3: Edit palworld config file to your liking, and you MUST include your wan IP in the file unless you're fine with only you accessing it
Step 4: Start server > finished (or step 5+ if you want mods)
Step 4a: Learn to write a batch file so your server runs only on CPU threads YOU want them on, not what windows or the server wants to be on, that never ends well.
Step 5: Install UE4SS V3, NOT xinput zip like modders keep saying, it's bugged & broken bs
Step 6: Install mods off nexus
Step 7: Launch server using Pal injector instead > Finished

It's a rough draft but if you need more info better to just look at guides, its too much info for a steam post (No really).

Get it down one time and you're probably good to go on any game that has dedicated options, rust, conan exiles, ark, valheim, all of it.

So better to learn now, dedicated is the way forward for games.
