but just saying that wasnt as fun
Game finished = move on with next one :)
My main save file is on hard settings and is gonna run out of stuff to do before it even hits 100 hours, if wipes were a month on a server that equates to maybe 3-4 hours of gameplay a day to run out of stuff to do by the end of a month and thats on hard settings. This is also all done solo imagine you have a team of 4 to 5 tackling this they'll be end game in a week if they are efficient. All games of this genre require server wipes as the gameplay loops are not infinite and the game doesn't really punish you so there isn't much of a way to lose a lot of progress.
No one has played an official server on normal setting and cleared all content, because its not possible between hackers wiping your base once or twice a day and the multitude of corruption bugs causing you to lose all progress. so the only way you could've completed this game is in single player or on a private server with your best mates.
so yeah, people who didnt really care about the game and just wanted to have fun for a weekend cleared it as fast as they could in one weekend. thats pretty normal, and to be expected for a game that was just a meme game.
but that doesnt affect official servers. the reason official server player count is down is because of the reasons i listed above. the hackers and corruption exploits wiping everyones bases and save data caused people to eventually give up.
We'll see if the game can recover. But I think itll be one of those games that is only kept alive by a dedicated community, not kept alive on life support by mainstream support.
I'll come back to the game when there's SOMETHING along the lines of an anti-cheat system.
