Needs to be a Ancient Tech Point -> Tech Point Conversion
I'm max level and can't afford half the stuff from 49 and 50 cause there are no more points to get other than grinding random chest locations...i dont even unlock every item just useful ones I use...

I have a ton of Ancient tech points that I will never use since literally every ancient tech is unlocked so there just wasted points

If you go for the Cold zone ones, u can get some nice Attack amp trinkets to wear, on Rare quality they impact your character dps quite some :D

But ye, get a fast small mount and blast to the end boss, with the cold ones you need a flyer, the Ragnahawk can fly in all dungs without being stopped by the passages.
You get books that give you 2 or 3 points i forget now, most of the time, and if your fast u should not need 5min to do one dungeon, so like sinking an hour into it should give you all the points in the world, also using a map that shows you Dung locations is preferred, but they also change locations, not every location is active.

Yeah that definitely does not sound ideal. I wonder if they're going to add more ancient tech to unlock.

Normal Tech points are farmable from Dungeons, just kill boss take chests.
Also the chest at the Research Islands can drop books that give u Tech, and quite sure those respawn.

But also in general, there are so many "FLUFF" items you never needed to take in the tree,
but if you want everything then yes, you got to farm some.

Like i said, I only took things that were necessary or beneficial (like a flying mount)

I hope so, I have like 30 Ancient Tech points just sitting there with no use lol

Sorry I misread the post,
but I still can't agree, maybe you just didn't do any dungeons?

I did a few to farm some schematics and i had like 30 points left after taking everything i wanted form the skill tree.

I think the need to farm some points is fine, just adds some more time to the game,
surely once Dungeons get a bit more fleshed out it will be more enjoyable then just a quick boss rush and then flying to the next one.

But i guess we shall see

Yeah I did maybe 2 or 3 dungeons, it sounds like I just need to farm them a bit

Your welcome, have fun

The dungeons don't change locations, they rotate whether they are active or not. They are always in the same places, they're just closed sometimes.

I'm pretty sure that's what he meant...

Yeah, maybe phrased badly.
But indeed that is what I meant :)

I'd assume they intend to give us more things for those points later. (I hope)

I think it's been changed or I'm incredibly unlucky. The highest level dungeons in the ice area and the step below them in the desert area have only been dropping the Ancient Technology Books.

If you breed Anubis for slaughter, you get bones, large souls, and they sometimes drop the higher lvl tech training manuals. So unless you refuse to butcher pals, if you are farming them for the souls or bones anyway, you'll eventually get the tech points too.
