Palworld on track to be most sold title of all time.
PUBG sold 75 million copies.
March 2017-December 2021 4 years.

Palworld second week. 20 Million Copies sold.
If the game has this much hate, its a damn good game!

Hackers are doing their best to try and kill official servers, but they forgot one thing.

You can host your own server privately and their is coop option.

Excellent point, this. All the good games have their share of haters. There are people who enjoy hating things just because they're popular. I know because I've been one of those people many times before. Fortunately, this wasn't one of those times.

PubG isn't even close to the most sold game of all time. Minecraft, hands down, with 300,000,000~ copies sold- Over 100 million more copies sold than second place which is 190~mil by GTA5... PUBG is in 5th place.

I agree, this game has insane potential.

You have a great point, was just grabbing a popular multiplayer title that was out their. However, Minecraft did not sell that many titles in its first launch. It started in 2009 and took a while to grow.

I'm already looking forward to new maps.
But I'm not sure if they will get to minecraft levels.

Yeah Minecraft had one thing going for it, Performance and ease of download in sizes of Killibytes. However Technology has grown since 2009... Palworld is surprisingly stable and might burst that technology shackle that most triple A titles struggle with.

Agreed. But 300M. That is around 5% of everyone on earth (if my math and the 300M number someone put out there is correct) . That will getting a lot more types of players involved. Minecraft had a broad appeal. I hope they get there.

Pop of earth is estimated to be just over 8 billion people as of July 2023.

So 300m is about 3.75% of 8b.

Don’t forget too, a lot of those copies sold of minecraft may be one person double dipping across multi platforms and therefore we cannot assume each purchase = one person but that’s about closest guess we could make given what sales numbers are public.

How can there be 300M sales if there are only 160 people on earth.

World population is closer to 8 billion. There are over 300million in USA, and both China and India are much bigger.

Really shows us how low the bar is set for the entertainment industry.

Minecraft numbers are too far away, but since Microsoft was interested in Palworld, There may be a possibility of buying the company and turning it into Minecraft Again.
Regardless of whether it is desirable for players.

its not that they struggle to optimize those games, they have an incentive to make the requirements so high to push people into buying better hardware.

More like least solid title of all time

I'll be surprised if Palworld hits 30 million by its 1st year anniversary
