How To Use Schematics?

I have several but they don't show up in the workbenches. I've tried right and left clicking them, but nothings seems to work. Please help.

They have to be just in your inventory. Depending on the schematic you need a quality workbench, an weapon assembly station or an assembly line.

1 Have schematic in your inventory

2 Interact with appropriate work bench (read schematic to know which bench it is crafted at as some are weapons workbench only while others are general production only)

3 Locate the alternatively colored item in question

4 Click craft.
