Egg Hatch time
My Egg Says 48 hours to hatch a little cold. How do you you speed it up. I put 2 heaters with pals on it and 6 camp fires still no change in the little cold time

one thing worked for me was building just a tiny room with door so a 1 block room 1 campfire and even my dragon eggs never get cold. maybe i got lucky and its a bug idk. but it works for me, eggs that need it warm are 100% everytime.

If you make a enclosed shelter, I think it pushs the temperature towards neutral, haven't tried it in hot or cold places but it cancels cold nights.

2. my eggs hatch instantly, this is a server setting, if you have control over your own server then set the hatch time to 0 instead of 72.
i have mine set to 0 but it still takes 20 mins for a huge egg ?

It shouldn't
0 (zero) means that as soon as you put it into Egg incubator it will ask you the same time to incubate it without waiting.
That is what I do.

Don't set it to zero, please don't, there's so many bug issues with people doing that. It'll work fine for a bit then the timer either glitches out and stops completely with eggs having 99 day timers or starts doing weird stuff. Set it to "0.1" if you want a stable lowest setting. Normal eggs take like 10 seconds, huge eggs take like 2 minutes on 0.1, and I have yet to see a single bug reported for a 0.1 while a flat 0.0 has had dozens of bug reports on it (and of course some people saying 0.0 works just fine).

I still don't see any bugs from my side of view and I have been playing a lot as of now

Yeah, it's definitely not the majority of people using 0.0, just saying there's several hundred people filing new reports daily with 0.0 bugging out and the timer just freezing entirely. Like eggs either not showing a timer at all and also not hatching, or showing crazy timers like 99day timer sort of thing with no countdown and the timer itself frozen.

IE: It's not stable at 0.0. It may work, but it's definitely not a stable setting.

Note: If this does happen, remove the egg from the incubator, save game, quit, change setting to 0.1, reload game, put egg back in incubator and it should work fine past that.

Do you know where some of these reports are? I have mine set to 0 and have hatched at least 500 eggs so far without any bugs/glitches

There's new ones of these popping up pretty regularly. Granted, I haven't seen any new ones since 1.4 so maybe they stealth fixed it in the new patch, that is possible.

That second thread had the issue while at 1 not 0 in the comments. It seems like it's not the 0 that is doing it, but maybe changing the timer itself can. Looks like the first thread was fixed after the process which restarted the game and made it open the changed settings anew, and the second thread has to close the game, validate files, and re-open after the changing the setting? Idk if validating is needed but it makes sense that it's more likely reading the file wrong which has the changed settings.

Yeah, one had mention of possibly attempting to dupe eggs so I'm not sure how much of it's report can be trusted anyways.

That's only two though, there's been many more.

Like there's no harm in using 0.0 and if it works for you awesome but just know it can potentially glitch out, and even if it does it's an easy fix so I guess there's no harm in using it. I still stand by my suggestion though to go for 0.1 as a stable lowest end setting.

We just post our suggestions that it works for us which might also help others too. Now if for some reason for others doesn't work even by trying to help them by providing more advises then it means that something else is wrong with their settings.

Sometimes is due to players adding mods (Palworld now has mods which I don't advice anyone to use yet as the game is still in :lettere::lettera:) and/or making changes in game's files (not in-game settings) which might ruin it is codes.

Yeah, but one had it when changing to 1 not 0.0. If it's happening to more than just the 0.0, it's most likely a larger issue with changing the setting in general and not just the 0.0. However since most are changing to 0.0 and not other numbers we aren't seeing as large as a base. Both of them, simply fully closing the game and re-opening should be enough to fix after changing the setting. And depending on how messed up that settings gets if you don't, it could think of the egg trying to hatch at both new and old settings (or whatever) and see it as a possible dupe attempt. Either way, I'd be hesitant claiming the glitch on 0.0 when the same behavior has been seen with any change.

Completely fair stance. ^^ I acknowledge and respect your reasoning.
