Egg Hatch time

My Egg Says 48 hours to hatch a little cold. How do you you speed it up. I put 2 heaters with pals on it and 6 camp fires still no change in the little cold time

the hatch times are an adjustable world setting that can be changed at anytime. If your playing solo you can change it to whatever you feel most comfortable with.

If you put it to 0 (zero) in adjustable world settings it will hatch immediately

There is a spot to adjust the egg hatch in the setting section. it was set to 72 hours.

That is settings for hard servers, putting it to 1 or 2 is normal gameplay while 0 is for those who don't want to wait.

question is tho, how do u speed it up? if u put a fire there, n even a heater, it still says cold. is electric heater the only way?

some other fellow players mentioned the Volcano area but in order to go there and have a base you need to have good heat resistance gear

heat sources dont stack. the way temperatures work in game are weird. no one area has a perfect temp for eggs.

you would think cold eggs cold area, hot eggs hot area. but you dont need that. I built a base in the volcano area for those hot eggs. and had to put a cooler on them. but that doesnt really work either. at night they where in perfect temps, but in the day it was to hot....for a hot egg.

Eventually i gave up, and like other just turned the timer off completely.

1. heat sources do not stack!
- so buikld a heater, campfire, that other thingy, to increase in higher temperatures.

2. my eggs hatch instantly, this is a server setting, if you have control over your own server then set the hatch time to 0 instead of 72.

Campfires and heaters don't stack. Placing 6 is the same as placing 1. If the egg is still too cold, you can either wait until day, as nighttime lowers the temperature or move to a hotter area, like the volcano or desert.
