Just like we don't want your constant whining on Steam.
You buy an early access title, you accept that the game will have issues, cheaters included. Early Access doesn't mean it's a finished product by any means. It is still very much in development and cheating in game right now doesn't mean much.
I'm not defending the cheaters, but do try and learn how to read properly so you avoid wasting your time on the forums.
Nobody is telling you to play a multiplayer game solo. You can set up your own servers, nothing is stopping you.
I can also tell you that in the majority of survival games out there, even those who've been in early access, the majority of players play on private servers.
If you're unhappy with the current state of the game, take a break and wait for them to get an anti cheat implemented.
Finally no, you're not suffering from poor listening skills but you do suffer from a complete lack of reading comprehension.
If you don't want to hear it, then don't enter a thread titled as such. And stop coming back to it over and over.
Part of the 'early access' process involves player's comments and criticism, as they state that they very much want the input of the player base in the development process.
Quotes to help you read and comprehend what has already been said.
Early Access don't tell "don't put a basic anticheat in an online game".....i never seen a sandbox EVERY DAMN DAY OR WEEK server wipe or cheater implode all the base instantly, NEVER ANY SANDBOX I PLAY, early access, pre-alpha, Beta, NEVER see a crap online like this, it's a DISASTER, Cheater with ADMIN POWER and ADMIN ACCESS CONTROL PANEL is a disaster, Early access is not an Excuse every time, the dev simple PUT AN ANTICHEATING BASIC PROGRAM AND PUT AND END TO REACH THE ADMIN PANEL IN MULTIPLAYER, simple and the rest of bug and cheating is like other game around net, BUT CHEATING WITH ADMIN PANEL is catastrophic, NEVER seen in any sandbox a thing like this.
I hope you find people to play with who don't cheat, but maybe play on private servers for the moment, that would be the best workaround for the cheating situation.
I didn't even know there are official servers.
I don't think the game will ever get a proper anti-cheat, or maybe a modded one lol
anti cheats aren't cheap and that's the least of their preocupation as the game isn't even "out" right now. as of today you paid to test a game and now you act like you're owed anything.
Open your eyes, enjoy what you can but it's only a game and it's only a matter of time before you get bored forever and shelf it.
best of luck to tame your rage.
This game would still be alive from community servers since they are heavily guarded by actual server admins. On top of this, it is even more secure since they have back ups.
There’s many servers to choose from in the official discord channel. Cheer up. You’re not alone in this issue.
I played quite of bit of ark on official servers, and also played more recently on private servers due to officials being shut down for the new Ark release.
Personally I preferred the official servers. Often I would see private servers set arbitrary rules that are unevenly enforced. 'Server support' packages to keep the dedicated running are a necessity, so people would just Pay-to-Win.
