What do you use each of your bases for?
So I've my third base that haven't built yet due to the fact I don't know what to use it for. I’m currently using one as my main base for wood, stone and breeding farm and my second base is an auto coal/ingot farm.

I have no idea what I “should” use the third base for, need inspiration.

quick teleports when mining, build, mine, tp, delete, repeat

Third was a dedicated breeding farm base right next to my main. Having six dedicated farms right next to my main base's Cake output meant it was a lot less painful to 4-star my team since you need 116 of the same bugger to do it each time.

I tried to put a base in the Gobfin area thinking I could passively farm them by putting high level pals there, but they mostly avoid the base and don't spawn inside it.

A Breeding Pen x3 and Cake Factory. A Crafting Base I store most things at that farms stone and lumber. A Base at Coal and Ore nodes that smelts ingots, gunpowder, carbon fiber n such. The first two are next to each other.

You will probably want either quartz mining in the mountains or sulfur mining in the volcano/desert depending if you have a greater need for ammo or circuit boards.

I have farm for ranching, growing crops, making cake and breeding. A mine for smelting bars and a general purpose base for manufacturing.

I have one that is farm, breeding, production. Farm two is iron ore and production. Base 3 is coal, ranch production.

Can use them however you want.

A dairy farm :3

1. Huge open area for ranch, factory, breeding, smelting, pretty much everything
2. Ore base
3. Coal base near Anubis - at least until i unlocked Pal Metals

Once they fixed pal idle issue, #3 will be Ore as well and will fill both with Pals

I have one base For mining. Another for farming/manufacturing. The third base is for ranching/breeding. I find it far better to have 3 bases focused on something than have 3 general bases.

One for crafting and food, one for ore and stone, one for breeding and wood.
Also check out https://palworld.gg/breeding-calculator for breeding, it's incredibly useful.

Base 1: my forge. Built it on an ore and wood spawn but currently my pals can't cut trees down or get wood so I built a logging area in the meantime.

Base 2: stone, coal, wool, and money farm. Thinking of moving that if I can find a better place to get both stone and coal though...

Base 3: breeding farm.

Base 1: Generic crafting base. Contains:
* Tree Farm and Quarry with Deer and Tombat working exclusively for passive resource generation
* Ranch. Exact PALs will vary, but typically early game a Chicki for eggs, a Lamball for wool, a Vixy for PAL spheres, arrows, and more, then adding a Mozzarina and Beegarde as they are obtained for Cake making
* Breeding pen and selection of incubators, because I have the room
* All the crafting tables/benches/lines
* One Campfire/Cooking Pot
* Berry and Wheat farm (later on, also veggie farms)
* Mill (but NOT Grinder, once I've done the minimum needed for base advancement)

Explicitly does *NOT* contain the following:

* Furnace (so as to not confuse my kindle pal, this goes in Ore Base)
* Torches (so as to not confuse my kindle pal)

Basically, your generic organic leveling base. Notable exception being smelting, which is handled elsewhere.

Base 2: Ore Base. Contains:

* Both ore and coal nodes, preferably
* Furnace/Smelter
* Box to store ore/ingots in
* Best beds I can make and a spa
* Possibly a Grinder if I have a desperate need for Paldium? Won't take much to put a water pet down and won't interfere with the other workers.

Explicitly does NOT contain the following:

* Quarry, because I want my miners on the ore and coal nodes, not on stone
* Tree Farm, because Blazehowl is relatively easy to breed, but has Lumber 2, don't want him confused
* Any crafting tables of any sort (Anubus will get distracted)
* Basically anything that isn't directly related to mining and refining ore and coal

Keep your PAL's focused and on-task, which means minimizing the number of distractions at base. Anubus has Mining 3 so it can mine ore and coal, plus transportation to haul it to a chest. Maybe stick a Transportation guy in to further facilitate transporting ore/coal to chest. Make sure transporter doesn't have any ancillary skills that might distract him, speed traits are a bonus. Blazehowl is a Kindle 3 pal that is relatively easy to crossbreed (Caprity + Cinnamoth is one of the easiest IMO, but there's many options).

Base 3: It Depends(tm)

Honestly, by the time I get third base unlock, I'm looking at either Sulfur or Quartz, but I'm not aware of any locations that has both in one convenient area like there are coal and ore. I have breeding covered in the first base, so I really don't need a full hardcore breeding base. I mean, yes, breeding is how you get OP pals fast, but you generally don't need to be doing multiple simultaneous breeding because you're looking for specific traits, and once you get those traits you can move on to the next thing you're working on.

Typically I lean more to Quartz than Sulfur because I tend to find that my personal damage falls off by this point in the game, so I'd rather have my Pals do my fighting for me than do it myself.

While I can make a third base, I haven't really figured what I need it for.

The other two I have are:
1) Farming and breeding
2) A coal and Iron farm with production at the very edges.
FAIR Feb 4, 2024 @ 6:15pm
1- Main with everything
2- Ore/ingots production
3- Coal
