Game dislikes my computer Overclocked
So Friday I setup my new computer and got it running, played palworld throughout the night and even went to sleep with it on. It ran perfectly fine until my brother decided he was going to overclock my computer and also get my ram up to the speed it was supposed to run at (They were running at 4800mhz instead of the intended 6400mhz at the time).
He gets the overclocking done and computer is running great, i'm playing all my games nicely until I came onto palworld. It started crashing frequently especially if I was multitasking a video, song, or even discord.
I'm not sure what to do about the situation as I would like to keep my ram running at the proper speeds and not lower than what they were intended to run. I'll post the log of the crash.

Edit Solution: We simply downclocked my ram from it's intended 6400mhz to 6000 and it seemed to run properly afterwards, It's possibly just some issues with the profile settings in the bios for the cards as there is only DOCP 1/2/Tweaked at their default settings.
I'm too lazy to go into depth to figure out exactly what the issue is as I'm better with software not so much hardware. For those who have a similar issue finding this thread, you'll either need to downclock your ram or tweak your settings for the ram profile on your bios to get it properly optimized. GL yall and enjoy palworld <3

Overclocking a new PC when it is running well is a very bad decision. 1. the components must be built for it. 2. your warranty has expired and 3. some games have problems. 4. Your PC breaks down faster and 5. your power consumption increases enormously. The memory problem alone could have been easily fixed via the Uefi. Be that as it may ... hopefully you will find the problem

it's likely not the games fault then ...

do windows + r
and execute: MDSCHED
if you are using 4 sticks of ram, then yeah getting to 6400mhz might be an issue.

also if you are using an amd platform instead of intel, make sure to update bios as that can improve your memory oc stability.

also might need to raise your memory controller voltage to get it stable but do not raise it too high, do not do it if you have no idea what you are doing. obviously if there is xmp/expo profiles use them and then do manual oc if you have to.

This is all outdated information. Overclocking is possible on most hardware now just to a lesser degree on things which don't have their BIOS unlocked for it to protect them from damage.
It can and usually does void your warranty, that's still true.
Games do not have problems with overclocked PCs, your PC will have problems if the overclock isn't stable though.
Your PC doesn't "break down faster" this isn't 1998, if you push it stupidly high then yes it'll cause damage sooner but nothing normal desktop users will notice. It's still usually over 10 years which most people have replaced the parts by then anyway.
Finally, the power consumption doesn't increase massively either, it's usually barely 10% depending on the specific piece of hardware you're trying to overclock. The whole point is to overclock efficiently not just throw more wattage at it which leads to overheating and the damage you suggested earlier.

not much you can do past undoing the OC or tweaking it further until you find a setting where Palworld specifically behaves well with

Find a more appropriate forum for this; this has nothing to do with Palworld.

I'm using 2x32gb 6400mhz corsair vengeance. We used the base profile I believe (DOCP I) to allow the motherboard to actually run it at 6400mhz, as beforehand it only recognized it as a 4800mhz
i suggest you run some intensive mem test over night

or just loosen up the timings and see if that works out

I assume it is am5 so 6400mhz is where the ram should be at speed wise. It does require that the motherboard bios is updated for the 1:1 cpu/ram ratio. I am sure that is done already.

Memory controller is on the CPU these days and it is not every CPU out there which pulls it off due to the silicon lottery. Remove all overclocks and keep the Ram at 6400 and start doing stress tests before overclocking.

Personally i think overclocking is a thing of the past though, but that is just my opinion.

Good luck.
