This is a species, right? I mean, ask yourself which would be creepier: A monster that breeds normally but has an "infatuation" with other species' males, or a monster that ONLY breeds with other species' males?
It's been done before

Asari

A mono-gender race, the Asari are distinctly feminine in appearance and possess maternal instincts. Their unique physiology, expressed in a millennium-long lifespan and the ability to reproduce with a partner of any gender or species, gives them a conservative yet convivial attitude toward other races.

I know, but those ideas take on an entirely different tone when applied to the more serious air of a major Mass Effect character compared to the more... cartoony tone of Lovander in Palworld. It's more of a background detail in one of those things, whereas in the other, it's the entire identity of a monster that specializes in deteriorating illnesses.

What I'm saying is, if the Asari were Pals, we would have a lot of threads up talking about Asari.

It not being exclusively female is probably another jab at western bs just like with the type 1 and type 2 body thing

Given the design it would've made sense if they were all female, or the males looked different.

Pals that have different appearances isn't completely outside the realm of possibility given that the little mud acorn dude can have a flower growing out of it's head. (sadly doesn't change the Pal's icon at all so it's hard to see which in your box is that one short of naming them).

While that is a minor detail, it would be neat to see a male version. Even if it's a B version method.

I doubt it. Afaik, none of the pals are exclusively male or female.

That's quite sexist of you to say, plus they'd go extinct without femboys.

Well I don't because I was looking for females to breed and assumed they are all females because they look like females.
Not sure why you thought that, this isn't Pokemon.
(There was that one pokemon literally called Mr. Mime that could be female, though.)

That literally wasn't a thing until later generations. Also, I don't really know why having a bumpy tail would immediately make you think "ah, yes, that's a female."
Netsa Feb 4, 2024 @ 2:26pm
I really don't think it has anything to do with drag, none of the monsters in the game are locked to a gender. There were a bunch of earlier-generation pokemon that did this, too.

Listen, with a little imagination, a cloaca can be anything you want it to be.
