Ancient Tech Points

So im just curious if its just me or if im doing something wrong. Im trying to complete dungeons to get some of the ancient tech points but anytime i complete them, i dont get any points. just the parts. I kill the boss and collect both trunks before leaving. Am i missing something?

You get 1 point for the first time you kill a dungeon or world boss, 5 points for the first time you beat tower bosses. After that you don't get any more points but don't worry there is more then enough bosses to buy everything in the ancient tech tree.

I know that. But im completing dungeons for the first time and not getting any points. I get them for the Alphas. But ive completed 3 seperate dungeons and havent gotten any.....

You never get ancient technology points from dungeons. Only from first kills on bosses which are shown on the map and tower bosses.

I think they're only granted on the first Boss type kill. If you've faced that Pal boss in a previous dng, then you already got his tech point.

Then I'm suffering from a serious mandela effect as I remember vividly killing a Cattiva boss in the back of the first dungeon of the game and message flashing on screen saying I was awarded 1 ancient tech point for the kill

world bosses give the points. random generated dungeons just give parts and techprints for normal tech points in the chests.

Ok, so there are two kinds of dungeons. There's the ones which randomly spawn around, which do not give ancient technology points. And then there's the ones with just a boss room in them which do give one ancient technology point the first time you kill the boss.
