My pals are so weak
When I fight a pal 1 level higher than my pal, the enemy pal just wipes the floor with my pal while taking almost no damage. Ack!

Skill issue; learn to either recall your pals before they take damage and send them right back out, or just change the difficulty to "casual" so it fits you better

Shudnt be happening ? Whats ur difficulty setting ? Do they have bad passives ?

in 'survival guide' scroll down to 'elements' and read that. maybe screen shot it and put it on your other screen. it might explain a lot to you.

It still shudnt be that bad with 1 lvl difference tho

Yeah seems kinda strange. It could be a lucky pal? I recently caught a lambil that had Dragon Meteor lol. But yeah even if things were that bad, our ability to return switch to avoid damage is almost as cheat worthy as save scumming our way to victory.

depends on a lot of things.skills your pal uses versus enemy skills.what element type your pal is versus enemy pal can greatly affect damage too.
Then is also things like bad passives that can increase pals damage taken not to mention you dont know if enemy pal has good passives.

Consider checking the passives. If they have things like "Brittle" or "Work Slave" they're destined to be atrocious in combat, since a lot of 'em will reduce their attack and defense significantly.

Also, bosses and lucky pals are straight-up juiced for their level, and will hit significantly harder than anything else that same level.

it depend which pale you are using, some are too weak even on equal lvl, also don't forget things like FIRE>grass,so if you put a grass pal against a fire pal he will get destroyer, and if you put a grass pal vs a grass he will take half damage, you can also feed it fire skill so now your grass pal tank grass damage while doing insane fire damage etc

"that bad"? It isn't bad at all, but they are at the game.

Just wait until you try to beat a world boss. You could be ten levels higher and still do minimal damage. There is a reason people cheese the elephant with campfires

Is there a reason you care?

It's just strange to me because I didn't have that problem at first. Seems like once you start getting into the level 20s the pals you run into seem to have a lot more HP and the damage ramps up. The pal I was using had Runner, that's it. I'm thinking since I was on top of a mountain, maybe it just fell off. Now that I have a base up there, I'm just going to return to low teen pal area until my combat pals are fully up to my level and I get better gear.
