And that’s for any game. Like, ever. I wouldn’t even blame devs, this is just the nature of a toxic pos gaming society and why people preach to stay on private servers with friends and password lock it
In fact, if these devs actually did, it be like the first genuine move in a decade+ that any studio has done. I am sure these devs are nice folks and everything IRL but this is the truth on how it goes and they will deny it or ignore it, of course.
Better to just roll dedicated servers and let devs make new content and patch bugs.
Do you really wanna play with toxic aholes that badly anyway? Seriously not worth half a mil a month. If we didn’t have dedicated servers as an option I’d see the point, but, we have them, so, screw the toxics, lol
Square Enix can’t even stop hackers and bottlers on ff14 with virtually unlimited funding. These guys are indie, there’s really only two choices sadly, accept you’ll run into cheaters or just roll private, it’s been that way since, god knows how long, feels like since Socom 1, lol
What do you expect fellow gamers to do about it, exactly? Don't play on Official and the problem ceases to arise.
