Something wrong with your machine, could be hardware or software. This is not a high demand application. People are getting much better performance with lesser builds.

I have a $350 PC and it runs just fine at 60 FPS.

1080 Ti, runs fine at 60 FPS. Definitely something weird going on with your rig. It's possibly your RAM since you're right at the minimum requirements IIRC, but I can't be sure about that.

Sounds like bad hardware maintenance, it runs great on my system with a 3060rtx, ryzen 7 5800x3d, and a .2 ssd. But who in his or her right mind stays at 16GB RAM, nowadays 32GB is standard. I have 64GB RAM

It's something with your system for sure, even steam deck runs 30 - 40 at medium

It ran smooth for me untill I reached late game with multiple bases. It could be memory leak like some people said, but overall my performance is getting worse.

I get now like 40 fps in empty areas, doesnt matter...

The XBOX Series X has a stronger GPU than the 3060 and your CPU is literally trash.
