How to keep pals from being ill in dedicated server when no players are online?
I'm hosting a dedicated server 24/7, today when I returned home from work, I found every pals in my every base got illness, how could this be?

I mean, yesterday I was online for about 12hrs, and no pals got illness, but after I left the server, fell asleep, woke up, went to work and returned home, all pals were ill! Just like they were sad because no players were companying with them?:lunar2019deadpanpig:

Server crashed and auto restarted a 4 am, could this be the cause of the problem? After server reboot, bases were not loaded, so pals were not moving, so they all starved to death, I guess?
and I'm unable to collect 225 horns to produce enough medicine to cure the pals before I fall asleep again :-(
when logging off from a server. put pals into the palbox again. this will keep them from doing stupid things when you are not online .

The server still sort of runs with no players logged in, but no bases are loaded. The only things that continue to work while a base isn't loaded are the Ranch, Pal Sanity, and Pal Hunger.
So all the Pals will remain frozen in place, being driven into starvation, insanity, illness, and injury.
And honestly, the only thing you can really do about this is simply unload all the Pals from the bases when you log off for the day if you don't have other players who will play in the vicinity of your base while you're offline.

I think they will do mining job when players are offline, one day I got thousands ore when I returned home, but other days I just got a few hundred. As well as the Stone Pit and Logging Site, sometimes I can see them reach 9999. But the amount is very unstable
is no way to fix it unfortunately the only solution is to just put them in the box when you arent playing. I pretty much put the dedicated server game i was doing aside till this ends up addressed and mostly just play solo/co-op so i can turn the server off when im not online.

yes, I think it will be faster to just buy materials, but it will cost a lot of money... (45 pals = 45 high grade medicine = 225 horns + 90 bones = 67500 + 9000 = 76500)

I set the value of PalStomachDecreaceRate to zero as I think the illness was caused by starving, want to see if this will solve the problem temporarily.

Hello,
Did it work ?

I also noticed pals being stuck or even glitched in the ground, and not able to eat even when the base is loaded

Seems to work, see my : another post
Set bEnableNonLoginPenalty=False in your dedicated server file under "%Serverpath%\Pal\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\PalWorldSettings.ini". Its a login penalty turned on by default so your pals will get depressed when you are away.

Edit: This wont fix pals getting depressed when they run out of food / get stuck while beeing away.

I actually fixed it by setting PalStomachDecreaceRate to zero, I think the depression was just caused by hungry
This issue needs to be fixed, my insurance premiums are going through the roof.

Don't afk in base and go away ...as an admin you don't afk out ....it just stays on. I left mine on and didn't care ...no big deal to me. Came back to some fractures, depressed, blahblah.
So I did what I needed to do...shoved them in a box and pulled out the other ones lol
