What's the point of an "electric" heater or cooler when they still need a pal to run?
The entire point of running off electricity is not needing the assistance of a pal I thought? I truly do not understand this feature. The big ass electric heater still also cant heat scorching eggs through the night if outside. The whole idea of these items are a huge ass mess.

Heat and Cold operate in 3 levels much like your temp gauge. The better heaters can heat more but at night the temp always drops 1 gauge.

I understand that, and its still stupid that the largest heater cannot heat well enough throughout the night.

Also, please answer why they need a pal to operate if they are electric?

There's a battery thingy, no? That should be the point. Charge it with an electric Pal and then it should provide energy to your base/heater/cooler. It should also work without the electric Pal for a time, before it depletes, so you have to charge it up again.
that ain't at all what it is, despite being electric it still requires a kindling/cooling pal respectively and will immediately shut off the minute a pal is not working on it, making campfire still the uncontested king of egg warmers

That is exactly how it should work in my opinion. Why it needs electricity and also a kindling pal is wild.

I tried stacking a bunch and nothing worked and is also very wonky to use when I do my mass breedings. I try and hatch about 7-10 eggs at a time when im breeding out traits.

yeah it's weird but I think the devs wanted to make pals be the core of the base and the electric is just the "final" tier and the pal is just like you, to heat the food in microwave you put the food and turn it on right? The pal is like you turning it on but instead of just turning it on and leaving they are holding F to work lmao

He's not talking about the Electric Pal that keeps the battery charged. He's talking about needing a Pal for the ELECTRIC Heater/Cooler needing Pals to work. It should only require one Pal for the setup: The Pal keeping the battery charged. The ELECTRIC Heater/Cooler shouldn't need a Pal for them to work.

By exemple , in one of the region u put an egg in an incubator , and got +50 , but still too cold , u build and heater , a pall come heating it , and boom +100 incubation speed , so depend of region +wheather (region)+ heater or cooler , work perfectly for every eggs

Go outside of your home with a heater, turn it on and see how well you are warmed up while outside at night time, or you know build a little egg hatchinig house with a heater inside

You would think that a massive furnace wouldn't need a house to help heat an area, then again, it barely works at night outside so...

I know right? Stupid. I need those Pal slots for other things!

I literally built a heater and cooler on the opposite ends of my base and they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with each other. There is a wild radius bug that doesnt make sense with some of these mechanics. Putting things inside buildings doesnt matter and I have proof of that. Built a house with an electric cooler and the frozen eggs were still too warm with an electric heater running in its own house on the opposite end of our base. I also do not understand the day and night temps as a large frozen egg is perfectly comfortable without a cooler during the day in a warm climate? The breeding and temp mechanics feel incredibly rushed and the electricity usage feels stupid.

agree that taking up another kindling/freezing pal for the cooler and heater is too much. in addition they should display a graph so its easy to tell how cold a region is, having to guess if the temperature is perfect for the egg is a horrible design

Yeah I think its best explained as some one else put it they didn't want end game you just needed electric pals and then a slew of anubis after you had your farmer and waters. You still need ice, and fire pals in the base even with electricity in it. Otherwise we might as well put in automatic sprinklers that run on power and I just need some electrics and what ever else I feel like
