Base Size Radius

Can we please make this bigger or not a circle. The circle is just so awkward to plan a base around. I feel like a larger square would work better. Especially for those of us that have been playing solo or just with friends.

It only does that to a point, but by the time you hit where you can make a 2nd base you are already maxed out the radius.
I want to be able to place the palbox on a foundation, and I want the area for the base to be square/rectangle
The palbox should make the area around it a grid making easy to place foundations that line up.
Being able to raise and lower foundations that are next to each other on uneven ground would be nice too….

People keep complaining about the circular boundaries and forget that the environment isn't a perfect square either. In fact, most places that are good for building have naturally curved borders that can't be built on. The base boundary compliments this perfectly and I would hate to have to deal with a square border.

And we don't need a bigger base size, we just need more available bases. Three is not enough in a map this big and for all the needs we have. It's mandatory to have a dedicated ore and coal base, and unless you build on that one spot that has both, that uses up two spots already. Which barely makes enough room for farming, ranching and breeding.

Right?
You don't need a base zone to build a foundation. You can start the flooring for your new HQ before you put down the Pokemon PC.

Placement of objects is really weird in this game. They'll sink through foundations and complain that they overlap all the time unless you look at a very specific angle with pixel-perfect precision. I have this issue with Palboxes, ranches and breeding pens all the time.

Yeah. At least make the radius a square, because the whole building system is based on tiles. Circle radius waste effective space a lot, especially when building around the AI limitations.
