You can cycle through your pal spheres by hitting 2, I found this out by hitting it instead of 3 to cycle my pals.
By the way, how much difference do the different spheres make? Are the Giga spheres almost guaranteed to take down the big boys, and are mega spheres usually reliable with medium pals. I have had pretty good luck taking down some of the medium size pals if I soften them up 1st, but it would be nice to know the mega & giga spheres will make that a lot easier.
What a really unintelligent thing to post.
Honestly no reason to practice. Just take the highest level spheres you have and capture everything with them. Everything below a legendary sphere is super easy to make once you set up an iron farm. Legendary are easy as well it just takes forever to make palmetal.
Careful when using mousewheel to change when mounted, it might lock you halfway in aiming so that even if you release the RMB/Aim button clicking LMB/Fire will still throw balls. To get out of this when it happens just hold RMB/Aim again for a moment. Briefly annoying but some have gotten stuck like that without knowing what to do.
I have now reached the point where I am crafting and using Legendary Spheres, so I no longer worry about it anymore, but in the early game those yellow & red spheres were precious.
