Can't ride Nitewing HELP

So i caught Nitewing and i unlocked the Nitewing Saddle but in the keys tab its empty and i cant ride it. Says it is locked although i have the pal and the saddle. Has anyone encountered this and how do i solve this issue ?

it's level 6 first one, btw have you built a palbox yet? That will tell you what you need to upgrade levels

i bet he forgot to pick it up after crafting it, ive done that a few times

There is more to this than simply not having it crafted.
I couldn't ride my first mount after having the saddle crafted.
I cannot ride this mount with the saddle crafted.

I suspect based on one common factor between both of my problem mounts that it is because both of them were/are currently level modified down to my level but I am not at all positive. Might be coincidence. My first mount that might have been a nightwing did unlock when it was not lowered to my level but I wasn't watching if those two things were in sync or not.

You literally answered yourself.
Your key tabs is empty.
If it ain't in the key tabs you can't use said feature.

i have my saddle and i pick it up from the work station but it just dissapears

Screenshot your key tab, and show us. Not the inventory tab.

Try it in offline world.
or
Create a new world.
or
Delete your character save file.

Something is causing the bug, it's up to you to find it out.
And then you can do a feedback to the devs. Either use the feedback option from the devs discord, or use the feedback function in the game, that opens up a browser with the place where you can post your feedback.
