group of friends and i bought a server on zaphosting today but the problem is that the server crashes every 5min +- we are also new to this thing of buying servers. Is it bc of the ea? Does someone has a solution? Thx :)

Hey there! This is a bit late but if you are still with them, drop them. I had SO many issues with them, spent nearly $100 on their services for 6 months (bought extra RAM). The server was constantly crashing and locking us out. We paid for a 4 player server and there was never more than 2 of us on. I switched to 1G hosting and they have been incredible. Super helpful support staff and the server hasn't crashed once since buying it a few days ago.

Zap Hosting is truly a horrible server with horrible staff who are just money grabbing and do not care about their customers. You are not doing ANYTHING wrong, trust me. They will tell you it is a PalWorld issue, it is not.

you need a minimum of 8GB ram, the lifetime servers default is no where near that,
suggested is 16GB ram and for optimal 32GB of ram so you do not get Out of Memory kills.

I host mine at Contabo using a LinuxGSM docker with 16GB ram on the server and a 16GB swapfile(virtual memory) and I do not get any crashes anymore
