How do you place down the training dummy?

I have the resources but it always says that something is in the way even if there isn't.

Hey,
I am having the same problem are you trying to place it on a foundation or normal ground?
For me, it looks like as if the spawn point of the training dummy is set too low making it clip through the foundation which prevents it from being built.
I was once able to place it on normal ground before I moved my base and started to use foundations.

it has a very wide radius. Needs to be in the open.

You can test how much damage your weapons do, other than that it just looks like you hanged one of your pals lol
