pal ai in my base is completely broken
they don't work, they don't eat, they don't sleep, they don't do anything... lol. they're just stuck looping into combat and then exiting it every millisecond, even when no other pals are around for them to attack. i tried throwing one of my dudes at a food box and instead of eating the couple berries he needed and moving on, he just sat there and ate all 400 something of them

yeah the combat bug is fairly common.
The only way i "fixed" it was to wait for another raid to happen, that would fix them.

i had a big brain idea and built a bell and set the alert level to ignore all enemies. that seems to have fixed it after about a 45 second freeze LMAO. i figured it was the update that broke their ai, because i was just playing the night before and all i had been doing was building in my base so i know everything was working fine

A good trick if anything is stuck is putting them in storage and then back out.

There also are some bugs - for example enemies stuck in the ground - you often can hit them with AOE attacks - had to do that with some raids since the last enemie just got stuck inside the floor.

ya i tried swapping them in and out of the palbox, but every single guy i took out / put back in was stuck looping. maybe because raid enemies literally never make it inside the zone of my base, they got stuck trying to attack them even after i killed them? not sure. but thanks for the tips gamers

Yeah i had this putting them in storage doesn't fix it, happened to me when i exited mid raid.
The game saves the attack flags of your pals but not the enemy raiders so they can't un-flag from combat.
Best fix i found is to agro an enemy and lure them into your base so your pets can finish them and un-flag themselves.(doesn't matter if they're not raid enemies)

How long did you keep them in the box? Try ten minutes.

Had this happen once (or similar), the bell fixed it for me. It had changed to combat without me even touching the thing (on save game load)

Before this, i tried to emergency quit the game once, i was testing raid functionality for the second time (at level 43), and suddenly a raid happened (exceptionally strong something something,,) and everything just exploded. Pals on fire running around and everything wen't to hell. Some real PTSD sh!t. I tried to quickly quit to menu and load a save, and similar thing happened for a while (in/out of combat state) and i got a nice looping fire/water sound on my base as a reward. All of that fixed itself in time.

Yea the bell can fix a lot of issue's but not all of them.
