lumbering not working?

Started a second mining base and assigned a bunch of lumber pals to clear the trees and give me the wood. The trees would neither break nor drop wood from the pals hitting them. I know this used to work so I guess this is a problem with the newest patch? Anyone else?

I think I ran into the same problem, I set a base near the church and I had many pals cutting trees, since I went out to explore while they worked when I came back I didn't even have more wood on reserve (I assumed the trees grew back too fast), it wasn't until I cut them down myself to clear the way since the other pals were getting stuck on their way to the containers from other tasks.

had the same issues they keep attacking a tree but it never breaks or drops lumber but i was able to cut it fine. prob something happen with latest patch

No, not working for base pals. If you just want to clear them you have to do it yourself or with pals on your team. If you just want wood, the logging site still works fine.

The best way to get around the bug is keep using the logging site & then use a crusher to get fiber.

lol doesnt help when clearing trees for a base spot. gotta cut them all down yaself.. or hop on a mossanda and grenade them all down
