It's not a percentage chance to capture. That 95% is how close you are to capturing.

you could just leave the game installed and not play it? It's only 20 GB after all.
Actually there were posts online with testing. It's arguable if the sample size was big enough but it did look fishy. At least weird enough to warrant a look into it.
