Guild Joins should be by invite ONLY!

The way that the guild joining is set up opens everyone up to cheaters. You should have to invite the person, NOT just walk up to someone and hold F to join their guild.

Last night, we had a hacker show up on our dedicated server. My partner and I had just teleported back to base, and I had just opened up the pal box to move around some new pals. 2 seconds into that, the Pal Box broke while I was in it, and left me entirely bewildered. We then realized there was a naked Level 50 character, with no name, standing right next to me. Before I even knew what was happening, he was able to join my guild, break the Pal Box, leave guild, and then place his own pal box. He then immediately started breaking our foundations to bring down our buildings. Half our base was gone before we were able to bring down the server, and had to re-load a save from 12 hours earlier. PASSWORD PROTECT your dedicated servers, if you haven't already! This is ridiculous.

I hope you realise that irrespective of passwords or invite only, they're literally hacking the game. Passwords don't prevent jack.

Unless there's a bypass to get into a passworded server without the password it doesn't matter that they've hacked gameplay

That's what I'm saying.

Hackers are already abusing the game's code. There's going to be a workaround any password security the moment that comes up. It happens in every multiplayer game that doesn't have anticheat.

We need anticheat. Passwords are just a nice cherry on top for security and privacy when it comes to closed community games.

Regardless of whether they're hacking or not (which they clearly were) it is way too easy for people to join your guild without your knowledge for nefarious purposes.
