It ruins half of my bases
Leave an access corridor for enemies to enter through and your pals will easily wipe them out.
If a pal box is built on a location that usually spawns hostile or neutral npc/wild pals, it will act as a barrier to stop them spawning inside your base.
Only time enemies appears inside your base can be one of the following:
1.) They wandered into your base and aggro on to you, very few cases wild pals will run away if they either spot a maxed lvl base pal or if it is a alpha type pal in your base.
2.) It’s a incoming base raid from a invading party, normal base event.
3.) Possible bug a nest was spawned, nest pals usually are in areas that may spawn a challenger pal trainer, Dr Brawn, merchant party or special pal spawns such as a chillet and chillet Ignis spawned together.
If a nest spawns there is usually a bunch of pals with a alpha type guarding a nest of eggs
4.) You happened to built your base on a enemy camp spawn zone, usually a pal box can block it, possibly it may be a bug
