Crashing when run with OBS
Im trying to stream the game on youtube, i’ve also tried to record the game if streaming was the issue but both ways the game is just crashing within 10-15 mins of running. In-Game settings: i’ve put as low as possible, and OBS settings: I’ve tried every possible encoder combo try to run it smooth. Has happened 15-20 times with me, and When it is about to crash i can sense it and i check task manager, it says “Your PC is running low on memory”. For OBS it says “Breakpoint reached” and generates a log file (but i don’t know what to do with that).

Has anyone encountered the same issue? any work around of this?

My Specs: Processor Intel i7 12700f ;

Gigabyte Nvidia RTX 4060 8GB ;

RAM 16GB (XPG ADATA Gammix 8GBx2);

Storage 1 TB nvme SSD ;

Secondary 1TB Sata SSD

I’m running OBS thru my primary SSD, and the game from my secondary SATA SSD.

I stream the game on twitch occasionally and have not had any issues, even with worse specs. The only thing I have better is 32gb's of RAM instead of 16, which could very well be it since this game is massive so it probably has to have a lot of data floating in RAM in order to work well.

Try capping game fps at 60 and outputting and 720p. Most people don't watch streams fullscreen anyways so 1080p is largely pointless.

It could also be the fact you're trying to record as well as stream. I would never really recommend doing that unless you have overkill hardware: not sure how youtube streaming works, but if I want a video of my streams, I just export or download my own VODs.

You'd probably get more detailed help if you took the log and posted its results on the OBS forums asking for help.

I have this problem where OBS is recording Palworld alright right until after the cut scene. Once you are able to move your character, OBS just doesn't seem to record that btu weirdly enough the UI is in the recording, just not the world or the characters,

Palworld is well known for being a pain to record.

No issues here, streamed fine multiple days for hours without breaks.
I could bet half of the people having trouble with OBS Studio and Palworld just dont know how to setup a streaming tool.
