Berry seed question

When I spread the berry seeds, it doesn't use up the berry seed count. Did I miss something?

Seeds are just needed to make the plantation, not to grow the actual berries.

Have a water, handiwork, gathering Pals and box, feed box the whole thing takes care of it's self.

Once the plantation is built, you no longer need the seeds, unless you want to build another one.

As mentioned by others.

When making a farm plot of any kind. It uses seeds to MAKE it once it is made you no longer need any seeds.. the field automatically reseeds itself.
