It looked like they were planning it with some, like Swee and Sweepa or the Pengullet/Penking but then they changed their minds?
I heard cuz they were scared of pkm suing them. Just goes to show that its morally okay to boycott pkm. What kinda world we livin in where a basic game machnic might gets you sued??

No, "unit evolution" has been a thing since at least shining force in video games, Pokemon can not take credit for that.

At first I felt the lack of evolution was an issue, but I think one of the reasons why Evolution doesn't exist is the fact that each Pal has their own special ability. lIke Pengullet has the bazooka, where Penking is just a passive that improves drops from fire pals. Maybe a way to choose when and how they evolve would work so you don't "accidentally" lose access to these abilities unless you feel the change is worth it.
Like in Digimon? Little penguinmon has a signature move and ability, choose to evolve it into a big penguinmon and it gets a different signature move and ability. The signature move and ability changes again when you meet certain criteria and evolve big penguinmon into diesel locomotive kangaroomon.
It looks like the devs went for a breeding-based theme instead of individual metamorphosis, though.

I mean, probably not.
If we could see the breeding outcome if it's of a pal and/or combination we've already made, that'd be cool.

I highly doubt that... To get something like that, contact Nintendo to make a better game... Palworld did enough within the law, they cant copy Pal evolution and stuff like that...

Nintendo can't own the rights to a game mechanic like characters/creatures evolving. This was done well before Pokemon. For example, there's a game called Master of Monsters that released on the Genesis in early 1990 that had a mechanic like this.

People really don't understand how copyrights, trademarks, or patents works.
Deathraven13 Feb 2, 2024 @ 1:03pm
It's already in the game as in you can combine Pals of the same species to make 1 stronger.

Would be nice to have evolving in some sort doesnt matter if its per item lvl or whatever i just like it to evolve my pals instead catching every single variant.
Azrael ♡ Feb 2, 2024 @ 1:11pm
It would be really cool. If they don't, maybe some cracked modders in the future will do it. lol

Biologically impossible, humans are mammals not arthropods.

Instead of evolution id like to see AGE...so baby PAL allthe way through to Adult PAL that you have to bring up yourself and depending on how you bring them up determins how they look and what skills they have.

One of the big issues is when you get big corporations like Nintendo, you don't need to be legally right and win, you just need to drag the lawsuit on long enough to destroy the other company (or person in the case of an individual).

its still early access so nobody knows.
All we can do is speculate.

I agree with ya. Who even remembers the middle evolutions of pokemons? Noone, thats who

Need to get a judge to hear it first. You need compelling evidence to even bring a case in the first place. If Nintendo just destroys this small and suddenly beloved company, it'll only be bad for them. Japan doesn't look kindly on developers who step on other developers, particularly if they're punching down.
