how long to breed?

i have been breeding two pals for past 4h (afk in background) still nada

Going to need to be more specific than that. What size egg, what are your incubation settings, is it SP or MP.

For starters what does the timer on the incubator say?

It varies from 3 to 5 minutes to 30 for me.

i forced feed mined 30 cakes

set incubation to instant and as long as everyone is happy you could get like maybe 6 eggs an hour on the relaxed work setting.
only if you're at base the entire time though. seems like every time i leave my breeding pals leave the pen.

feed them cake DA....

fed them each cake, i dont see any difference but ill give it a few

Cake has to be in the box attached to the breeding center. You do not feed the cake to the pals.
