Any plans on evolution of Pals?
As stated in title I realize it is early access in the game but do you have plans on implementing of evolution on looks of the Pals as they level up especially since some of smaller ones do have good starting skills...

No, if you know about the early version/idea for pokemon, Gen 1 was actually going to not have evolutions. This is something you can look up, not trolling. This game seems to have taken that idea and made "parent pals" instead. For example Swoo and Swoopa. Swoo is Swoo and Swoopa is the father of that species when they grow up. Swoo + pa (pa = father) which is why he is a big Swoo with a mustache, he is the dad.

Uso, lies. Paldex entry calls your BS, there is no Swoo and Swoopa, it's swee and sweepa and the Dex entry for Sweepa is "While hibernating, a large number of Swee hide within its voluminous body hair. The most ever recorded is 101."
Nothing at all about parentage, and that's total crap that Pokemon was never going to have evolutions.

Would have to fact check the pokemon gen 1 evolution thing, but regardless its still not neccessarily true for this game. Pengullet and Pinking are the best example to give. They are completely unrelated to each other. Same for beakon and Ragnahawk. There is no real "parent pals" in this game other than MAYBE elizabee and beegarde, and thats only assuming they reproduce the same way as bees.

This game needs to maintain its differences from pokemon. Right now it is safe from leafal action. If the game ACTUALLY makes Pals into Pokemon it will not be. The fact that it is not a Rooster Fight in and arena and that Pals are breed but don't evolve are things that make Pals not Pokemon. Adding all though things makes it much closer to Pokemon.

This game does not need to be like Pokemon... It needs to double down on the things that make it good and distinguish it from Pokemon. Base building, breeding, Dungeons, etc.

Well, the in game lore documents show that there's something weird and manufactured going on. That the pal's existence and the way they are isn't some random accident. I think the reason why pals are all technically different species but still capable of breeding with one another and even creating subspecies in the process will be revealed in the far future of the game.

I'd like if they expanded on type variants instead, and included some hybrids created through breeding or a fusion system.

Yeah, i am thinking of the same since how some of the early pals look like the ones later. Surely that is some indication of evolution will be involved. But then by that point, Nintendo will have more evidence to go for Palworld as a downright copy.

my theory is that all pals spawned from the giant tree and they experienced different evolutions depending on the enviroment

Pals should evolve into Friends if you treat them right long enough.

The fact that its not turn based and is a survival sandbox game ALREADY seperates it in a meaningful way from pokemon.

That being said, i like elemental sidegrades more than evolution. It makes every creature "relevant" rather than "this is just a weak stepping stone to a real dude".

Theres a ruin in i think the snowy biome that has lore relevance.

I never played Pokemon but I did played Monster Sanctuary, Monster Hunter Stories 2 all those have kinda evolutions at least some kind of change of looks and maybe gene pools.... plus if in looks they change more to look less like pokemons then less Nintendo has base to sue.

IMO, the game's design began with evolution in mind but it was scrapped during development. I base this on the number of pals that seem like they could be a +1 of another, like penking and pengullet. Most monster games try to have as many unique designs as possible and avoid redundancy like that and this theory would neatly explain it. Depending on when the decision was made, some pals may have been changed to make them more distinct.

I think that they will develop the game for the time and will put huge update or DLC after some time they develop the game and put huge update......

I think it's only going to stay as subspecies being their version of evolutions.
