G Portal Server Not compatible with update... what now?

We have a dedicated sever through G Portal, and now that the update has occured, we can't seem to join it. Any suggestions on what we need to do, or how to go about updating the server? We already tried resetting.

I have the same issue lol, not sure if it's gportal's fault or the game's fault.

i have the same issue but other people in the server that updated can still get in

You have to wait for Gportal to update the servers with the patch.

Okay, that's what we were thinking. How long do you think something like that would take?

heard with Ark it took around 2ish hours.

This is their official statement in their Gportal's FAQ

HOW ARE GAME UPDATES HANDLED AT GPORTAL?
Almost every game gets large and small updates with fixes, gameplay changes and new content on a regular basis.

To ensure that you can always play with the latest content on your server, we also have to apply these updates to our hardware so that your server can use them.

We receive the corresponding update files directly from the developers, but often only when the update goes online on Steam or other platforms. Thus, depending on the size of the update, it takes some time until it is installed and playable on our servers.

Once this is complete, you can then access it on your server.

My Gportal Server just updated and I did launch with 0.1.4. Works just fine for me. You in fact don't have to do anything. The server will restart itself automatically when updates are available.

Try verifying and restarting the server. Ours came back an hour or so later.

Unfortunately our g portal server still ain’t working 🫠 got a ticket back saying the problem should be fixed but that isn’t the case for our server. Hoping to get another response from them soon
