1.2gb update - what did it do?

this wasn't a 1.2gb update, this was a 18gb update because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unreal needs to patch the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Well, I downloaded 1.2gb and not 18gb. So yes, it was a 1.2gb update.

Well, I downloaded 1.2gb and not 18gb. So yes, it was a 1.2gb update.

Are you sure it downloaded and not updated? It only downloaded 203.6 Mb for me.

You mean where you can't load into the game? It was mentioned that for servers that issue was fixed but for save files that were already effected by it, that issue will persist and they continue to find a permanent solution for said issue.

After the update it did show what you are saying but stopped after 5 minute so it's just checkingthe files it seems, It take me around 6 hours to download 12GO so I would have known if that happened.....

The only thing i've noticed is that i suddenly cant play the game anymore.... the frame rate dropped to single digits for me; even when i switch to "potato" mode... I was running Ultra setting with absolutely no issue until now... hopefully ill get to experience the new update but for now its unplayable for me.

My friends and brother only had to download about 200 MB. For whatever reason, it's 1.2 GB for me. I'm a little concerned something got screwed up, but I won't find out until it's done on my crap rural internet.

Well, most people look at update sizes based on how much you need to actually download. The larger number will be applied when adding and overwriting files, but compression and unpacking exists.

I'm downloading 1.2 GB and installing 18.9 GB. I wish it were only 200 MB on my end like it is for my friends. No idea why some people are getting one size and others require another.

We need a fix for when we can't feed our absolutely massive pals like Jormuntide when they're in a base. If they're sick, they're fricked.

I lost a base to a hilariously low level raid. I rang the bell, then my guildmate rang the bell, turning the pals back to working. As a result, we got swamped (just murdered by them all targeting us and not getting hit by any of the pals working). xD Overall though, it worked out and we moved to a better location.
