Cosmetic hats

I think they break too easy maybe just make them infinite durability & give barely any stats. Talking about basically any hat that isn't one of the metal hats.

I've done it.
The electric lizard whose name I forget at the moment is far harder to avoid than Shadowbeak, and even that I can survive the full 10 minutes against as a level 39.

yeah just use this uuga buuga clown pal that you should've sold to a slaver when you got past lvl 25 that's a great strawman, besides that how do you know if you're a lvl 39, we're talking about the boss thats meant for close-to 50's where time is tight even when you're magdumping it with an AR

and if you want to go there with strawmen the orserk boss doesn't have a single ability you can't just simply roll. Spear is hard but the particles spawn in a star pattern so you just roll towards the right direction

but anyway back on topic i think the headgear you can buy as recipes from vendors should be cosmetics that break because that ARMOR DAMAGED text is really annoying and yes they do break immediately from the slightest sneeze

Lets also not forget the armor you can make it the Tech Screen is better stat wise and on the map you can find schematics for upgraded versions of em. There is also the fact on the Dev Roadmap saying they are going to be placing more gear schematics and they won't just be headgear. Do you think their going to put the schematic for a broom or mop just to mess with people?

Hold the ♥♥♥♥ up, you want to talk strawman but you are saying Shadowbeak's attacks are unavoidable, I point out that they can be avoided by using Galeclaw; and you claim it should have been sold at 25!?
You're literally pulling a strawman while saying i'm making one AND showing you don't know a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing about the game because Galeclaw is the best glider in the game and is faster than sprinting.

And my entire point was that it doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter that they are level 50 because I can survive against them as a lvl 39 by simply not getting hit.

I also never said Orserk's attacks couldn't be avoided, I said they were harder to avoid than Shadowbeak, and again if you actually knew ♥♥♥♥ all about Galeclaw you would know that's because Orserk is the only boss that can run as fast as Galeclaw can glide; none of the others can keep up with Galeclaw.

But please, by all means tell me more about the game when you're struggling to not get hit by things you can avoid "using a unnga buunga clown pal"

I mean I'd prefer to be able to glamour the armor so we can look however we want while having the stats of other armor. I want a witch hat, but I doubt it's as good as the headpiece I have now. Especially the basic one you can buy, maybe if I got a legendary version of it (idk if they even have those, I just assume)

yeah compared to my paladium "helm" every item like the witchhat has bad stats but the idea of wearing the paladium helmet and have costumes for them like in ark would be great thats true

Glam/Costume/Outfit/Cosmetic slots would be nice. As is you should probably just treat the costume hats as "Loungewear for around base" and less of a "Going to fight Jetdragon" kind of thing. Unless you just want to handicap yourself. In which case go ahead. :)

Actually, pal outfits and pal equipment would be neat. *I really want to see a Grizzbolt in a suit and fedora shooting his minigun XD* Or my annubis's wearing tank-tops and miner helmets. Then the four legged ones can have hats, and maybe boots. Fully cosmetic would be nice, but also minor stat boons while having them on would also be cool.
