i had a few too close together, after i spaced them out that fixed the problem.
Unfortunately it doesnt stop them from abandoning the line every time a berry crop gets harvested.
Yes and No! Sure it would be a improvement, especially at the moment but the game would lose some charm and character.
Not much, but you start with one menu, a second, a few more menus later, and before you know it its a poor mans city builder/manager game.
Its the small details like this, where you search you pal, pick it up and throw it down at a work bench :D
I don`t know overall I feel like a base in Palworld should be more towards chaotic fun (where everything works from a technical standpoint later - pathfinding, auto job assignments, priorities etc.)
I just set stuff up and go explore, when I get back it's all done.
Breeding is the thing they struggle with most (haven't tried breeding since the patch).
I've only resolved it by moving it away from other things. This is a part of the game (the assigning pals to work) that is completely broken in my opinion. It sometimes works, but not always. Sometimes I just give up. Instead I'll just bring in pals who have a priority for the type of work needed and eventually they will do it. It has to be there highest numbered priority. Sometimes this requires destroying something they want to do instead, like work at the stone pit.
One that usually works for assigning is the breeding station. It has to work, which is why I think they made it so big. The assignment fails when stuff is too close together. This brings up the main problem that is causing this problem, the base is just too small to separate things enough.
